Hi!
We are Michael & Esther Gambrell - owners of Shining Star Studios. We own a local photography studio that's provided children's portraits for over 17 years.
Some things you should know about us:
- We have five kiddos ourselves ranging from baby to 9 years old - we understand family budgets, so we try to keep our pricing as family friendly as possible.
- If your child is up for it, we photograph multiple poses. We typically upload 3-10 portraits of each child in a private gallery, but every portrait day is different. Sometimes, kids just have an off day.
- We offer multiple products and packages, but our most popular is our All Digitals Download package. If you have one child, it's one price, and if you have siblings, we combine their galleries into one family gallery priced for combined savings. That way, you aren't forced to purchase separate galleries of your children.
- We don't use green screen technology. It just feels "sterile" to us. Little kids don't know how to interact with it, so we photograph on full sets where kids can relax.
- We won't force your child to smile. In fact, we really don't like that word! ☺ (along with "say cheese") We interact with your child naturally way to evoke real expressions. But, let's face it, some kids are just more stoic than others - and we don't try to change their personality when they're in front of us.
- We photograph every child who's present and willing. Then, we upload your portraits to a private gallery. We text and email you when it's ready. (Please note: If you unsubscribe, you won't receive any future notifications of other portrait days going forward either.) You can purchase downloads, prints, or gift items from your gallery, but purchase is not required.
- If you come with your child, be forewarned that we like to pull parents into photos too.
